František Čech


Education and qualification

František is a qualified Czech advokát. He holds a law degree from Charles University in Prague and was admitted to the Czech Bar Association after passing the bar exam with the best result achievable (distinction in all five subjects).

František also studied in Australia at Griffith University Law School where he enrolled for one semester under a bilateral agreement with Charles University receiving a scholarship. Last but not least, he is an alumnus of a two year distance course in English and EU law by Cambridge University.

He speaks fluent Czech and English.

Experience

Before establishing his own practice, František worked for more than five years for JŠK (formerly Johnson Šťastný Kramařík) where he focused on insurance law, financial services regulation and provided long term advisory to several industrial clients such as a truck manufacturer or a plastics producer. Frantisek advised one of the world‘s largest insurers on local aspects of intra-group cross border merger. Frantisek also gained experience at the London office of Clyde & Co.
